Arise Foundation (AF) is a non-profit, non-governmental and non-political organization, established to raise the development potential of the less privileged youth and children especially girls and women to enable them lead an adequate and self-sustainable life through enhanced Education, Health and Income generation.

OUR VISION

To raise the standards of living of women, youth and children especially the girls through education, business and economic empowerment thereby unlocking and developing their potentials and turning them into change agents in their community and in the nation of Nigeria at large.

OUR GOAL (Girls)

• To promote up-to-standard girl- child education in the South West (Lagos, Oyo etc) and the North east regions of Nigeria by increasing the access of poor girls to education.
• To improve the quality of life of girls by seeking to increase their enrollment, retention and completion of primary and Secondary education.
• To contribute significantly to the promotion of literacy among children and youth in Nigeria by providing effective education and training for the teachers.
• To increase the participation of girls in maths, science and technology.
• To initiate the community to advocate for support and education of girls, for them to have access to education.
• To eradicate gender inequality by advocating and encouraging girl child education and educating parents of vulnerable girl child the adverse effect of child bride and the positive aspect of child girl education.

OUR GOAL (Women)

• To empower women through vocational training in retail, basic book keeping, recording, stock taking, customer service, child care, cleaning, decoration, tailoring, agriculture, retail, farming basket weaving etc. and then turn them into entrepreneur by providing start-up assets such as a day care, shop or cart, cooking tools, cooking stoves, industrial machines or industrial cookers, a beverage cooler and e-banking financial services.
• To change the life of poor women and their families through provision of revolving loan.
• .To rehabilitate distressed girls and women including battered women and to prepare such girls and women psychologically through counseling and other forms of therapy and education for a re-orientation towards attaining a better and more purposeful life in the society.

OUR MISSION

To promote the girl child education by providing access to education as well as emotional support to abandoned girls, the less privileged and vulnerable girls especially orphans and semi orphans  thereby increasing their quality of life . Also to improve the lives of women in local communities through business and economic empowerment.

OUR GOAL (Youth)

• To empower youth with life and economically sustainable skills, building better lives for a sustainable future bearing in mind that the only way to save our nation is to save our next generation.
• To equip the youths with skills that would enable them to be self-employed or gain wage employment and make them self-reliant.
• To empower and equip youth by providing the skills and tools for personal, organisational and community transformation to make them agent of change in their community.
