Worked in various parts of Nigeria as an obstetrician/ gynaecologist. Worked in Cairo, Egypt as a volunteer obstetrician /gynaecologist, ran obstetrics and gynaecological clinics for Refuge Egypt an NGO of the Anglican Cathedral in Cairo that looks after refugees in the City. Currently the managing director of Batfol Farm.
Borne out of a desire to promote the invaluable benefits of vegetables. After careful research and planning, Batfol farms commenced operations in September 2007. The nutritional value and health benefits of vegetables are well publicized and Batfol prides itself in contributing to the attainment of these benefits by focusing on vegetable farming.
The farms are located at three sites at Ibeju - Lekki Local Government Area of Lagos State:
• Debojo village
• Orofun village
• Ebute Lekki village
The Company was registered under the Federal Republic of Nigeria with RC number 756514 on the 27th of June 2008. The farms plant and distribute vegetables and herbs. The products are well packaged under hygienic conditions. Batfol is currently carving a niche as a major supplier of vegetables to reputable shopping malls and supermarkets in Lagos. The Farm is still working very hard to increase its output and to be able to meet the demand of its existing customers and expand its horizon.
Dr Disu is widowed with two children.
